Easter Seals Southwest Florida began in 1946 as Happiness House – an organization offering help and hope to children with disabilities and their families. Today, the mission of our organization has grown along with the communities we serve, and we have expanded the services we deliver to reach across the lifespan, from birth through adulthood.

Art Initiative
The artists with disabilities in our Art Initiative truly demonstrate our motto every day – "Art Knows No Boundaries!" Help support our artists and the Art Initiative program by purchasing their artwork.
Design Sense Challenge
Easter Seals Southwest Florida invites designers worldwide to DEVELOP A TOY OR SENSORY AID to assist children in their ability to process their sensory environment. The toy or aid may focus on developing one sense or multiple senses. Winner Receives a $1000 cash prize and admission to the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) Marketplace and Academy in Baltimore, Maryland June 10 - June 13.

Art Initiative
The Art Initiative, an original program to Easter Seals Southwest Florida, began as a technique of occupational therapy and then blossomed into a creative outlet for many of our artists with disabilities.
